Material: reclaimed umbrella fabric (polyester).
Fit: unisex, fits up to Brazilian size M.
The umbrellas we use are recovered by waste management cooperatives before they reach public landfills. The fabrics are removed from their frames, washed and sanitized before arriving at the Trama Afetiva studio, where they are selected, combined and cut according to fashion director Thais Losso’s designs and patterns. The pieces are sewn by a group of women who partner with Trama Afetiva. Through this work of repurposing materials and upcycling, they supplement their families’ income.
